This week's sound comes from Beirut, a band from New Mexico who sound like they're from some tiny Eastern European country whose name nobody can pronounce. This is probably because the lead singer found his inspiration from Balkaan folk music while traveling through Europe in high school. They're odd, and probably not for everybody, but I'm a big fan. Interesting instruments and a very unique sound. "Nantes" is absolutely my favorite song, but I also attached a two other songs by Beirut if your interested.Beirut - "Nantes"
